Detection of genetically modified plants using LAMP (loop-mediated amplification) technologies

Purpose. Analysis of the current state and experience on loop-mediated amplification (LAMP) use to detect genetically modified plants. Methods. Literature search analysis. Results. General information plants is provided. Despite wide distribution plants, attitude towards them in society continues remain somewhat wary. About 50 countries have introduced mandatory labeling GM feed products, provided that their content exceeds a certain threshold. In order meet requirements, effective sensitive methods for detecting known genetic modifications variety plant materials, food products animal must be developed standardized. The most common approaches detection organisms (GMOs) are determination specific proteins synthesized transgenic new genes. Methods GMOs based analysis nucleic acids more common, since such greater sensitivity specificity than protein composition. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method main acid analysis, which now used GMOs. Loop-mediated (LAMP), can occur at constant temperature therefore does not require expensive equipment may an alternative PCR. Scientific articles about were analyzed.
